LET'S ELECT A SHERIFF WITH A TRUE BACKBONE!!!

Henry County resident Curtis Steven Farmer of unincorporated Stockbridge, Georgia has officially announced his candidacy for 2024 Henry County Sheriff. Farmer will run in the May 21st., general primary as a "Nonpartisan" candidate. Farmer, a 25-year veteran of the Fulton County Sheriff's Office ran for Henry County Sheriff’s in 2020., and is back again., due to the negligence of our current Sheriff's Office operations.

Farmer has stated that he is entering the 2024 Sheriff election race due to the failure of current Sheriffs in protecting our youth, our schools, our business communities and you our citizens, along with fully addressing the horrendous liability negligence conditions of our overcrowded county jail that has contributed to many of deaths i.e., the homicide(s), suicide and other unacceptable deaths of detainees inside of the Henry County jail. Farmer additionally stated our youth are petrified of the gangs, the free picking assaults, drugs and cyberbullying in our schools and community. Some students are so frightened that they have contemplated and or attempted committing suicide, according to various awareness news reports here in Georgia., Farmer, went on to say that mentoring to our youth instead of providing constitutional protection, is a liability issue of our current Sheriff's and how he, Farmer, as Sheriff would vigorously, like to address these issues by challenging and changing Georgia’s state statutes, and such laws and or directives as the elected "arm of the state government" Sheriff. He will do so while the Georgia General Assembly is in full session at the capital and or in Washington D.C., if necessary.

Farmer states that as your next Sheriff of Henry County, he will propose bipartisan legislation to abolish the current 12-point “non-justice” juvenile system and reestablish Georgia’s 159 county by county juvenile justice detention centers. Doing so will remove bad-behaving youth who commit such acts as actively recruiting for gangs, fighting, carjacking, break-ins and scaring other students into violent acts. It will also help deter students from carrying guns on school grounds, picking fights, and participating in gang violence. Very sadly, some of our students are committing and attempting suicide or joining gangs due to the negligence of Georgia's 12-point system. Elected Sheriff representation is needed at the state capital. These matters cannot be resolved without action from the state Legislature and a VOCAL, competent elected Sheriff from each county.

Elected Sheriffs have to understand they are the chief law enforcement politicians of their county, once you become the elected Sheriff., you become the arms of the STATE government and you have to politic for the necessary changes, for all the people of your perspective county at the capitol., that’s my ideology of being a due diligence, Elected Constitutional Sheriff. The Georgia Generally Assemble will hear from you, and the cries of our juvenile youth who has to carry guns to be safe in Georgia due to the State of Georgia refusing to protect you the citizens….

I will also introduce legislation for a more robust parenting discipline structure bill which will allow parents to FULLY raise their children, STOPPING 🛑 their aggression towards others without fear of interference from law enforcement and the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) and being subject to being charged with Georgia Code § 16-5-70 cruelty to children as annotated. Provision in the cruelty to children code sections will be addressed and revised allowing parents and guardians to FULLY discipline their youths without penalty or investigation. Police and DFCS should not intervene in the disciplining of our youths, unless summoned for anything greater than Georgia Criminal Code § 16-5-24 for aggravated battery. Parents are the first line of defense in stopping all school shooting., including the massive shooting in America! Parents disciplining bad behavior and removing weapons from their own children should never be subject to arrest nor warrantless DFCS investigation. Our current generation of youth are truly killing one another, due to the low budgetary tax cuts constitutionally mandating county jails and state prisons and our Sheriffs’ failures to represent their constituents on the floor of the Georgia General Assembly. Georgia senators are NOT Sheriffs. Sheriffs of each county should be present and VOCAL for CHANGE.

Farmer noted that in 2007, an exploratory committee tried to abolish the Sheriffs of Georgia in the Georgia State Capitol; he assisted with ending that exploratory committee’s efforts, unofficially assisting elected Sheriffs who failed to speak out during that exploratory committee efforts!!

I Will Be "A Sheriff for All the People" of Henry County

Parenting “DISCIPLINE” Structure Bill of Rights:

As your elected Sheriff “the arms of state” government, I will be proposing several bipartisan bills from the Georgia General Assembly floor as your elected Henry County Sheriff proposing legislation for a revised parenting structure bill that allows parents to FULLY supervise their child(ren) without police intervention or interference unless requested by said parents to assist with removing weapons from their children and homes. Parents today are less involved in disciplining their children in fear of being investigated by the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) and subject to being charged with Georgia Code § 16-5-70 cruelty to children as annotated. Provision in the cruelty to children code sections will be addressed and revised allowing parents and guardians to FULLY discipline their youths without penalty or investigation. No parent should come under governmental scrutiny unless there is clear evidence under Georgia Code § 16-5-24 that aggravated battery or worse has occurred within the home. Our children should fear and RESPECT their biological parents and others, and not fear being beaten and forced into violent, kill or be killed gangs. Some of our youth are so petrified of these gangs that they are reportedly contemplating and attempting suicide. They are missing the love and discipline of a parent who cares enough to keep them from hurting themselves, others and joining gangs. Parents are the first line of defense in stopping all school shooting., including the massive shooting in America! A parent that disciplines their child loves and guides their child(ren) with structure., gang initiations discipline is lawlessness, death and destruction.

A Bill Abolishing Georgia’s 12-point Juvenile “Non-Justice” System:

I will be also introducing proposed bipartisan legislation completely abolishing Georgia’s 12-point juvenile “non-justice” non-accountable bill, which has endangered our youth by forcing them unwillingly into gangs for fear of being killed and or being severely injured.  Georgia’s 12-point system is unconstitutional under the 9th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. We must provide equal protection under the law to all citizens. Our youth feel compelled to carry weapons to and from schools and everywhere else due to our state government and this unjust 12-point system that has them fighting for survival. Our county Sheriffs and state officials refuse to protect them from other youth offenders, who are working the 12-point system to their full advantage.

Lobbying for the Return of all 159 County Sheriff’s Office Juvenile Detention Centers:

I will also reintroduce proposed bipartisan legislation re-establishing Georgia’s individual county juvenile detention centers along with county and state budgeting for adequate square footage per center. I propose to abolish Georgia’s current Youth Development Campuses and regional juvenile detention centers which are held unaccountable. Mandating that Georgia’s 159 counties maintain their own juvenile detention facilities would definitely help address the growing gang violence that has our children fighting to stay alive, while upholding the United States Constitutions as annotated. Our school administrators should not be held liable due to the failure of our county and state officials who refuse to house combative youth who are disruptive and undisciplined in our schools and carrying guns.  No student or faculty member of any school should give up their constitutional civil liberties and rights to safety.

Lobbying for Mandatory Adequate County Jail Space According to Population:

I will also be introducing proposed bipartisan legislation mandating that each of Georgia’s 159 counties maintain a 1% to 3% inmate general bed capacity population and adequate square footage for adult and juvenile detention populations according to each county’s most recent census population of record. Currently, citizens are arming and protecting themselves while our youth join gangs. The primary function of any government and the Constitution we all pledge to uphold is to keep our citizens safe. Currently, the majority of Georgia’s 159 county jails are under Sheriff mismanagement via operating off a zero (0%) nonexistent integer percentage per county jail population capacity. That is why guns, gangs and lawlessness are plaguing our schools, communities and commercial businesses. Merchants have to secure their establishments with chains, locks and cameras via county ordinance, but county commissioners do not provide adequate jail facilities to adequately serve their county population. Detainees / inmates within some of these inadequate, mismanaged county jails are dying due to the horrendous overcrowding. Murderers and other serious offenders are getting out repeatedly on bonds, putting us all in danger. Zero (0%) integer county jail space is an inhumane, constitutional "injustice and liability" failure of negligence of county Sheriffs.

Lobbying for Mandatory Adequate State Correctional Prison Space According to Population:

I will also propose a bipartisan legislation bill for state correctional prison to maintain a 1 to 3% general prison bed space population of Georgia's total residential population, currently, Georgia’s correctional systems are being indirectly mismanaged at the state government level, leaving facilities unsafe, understaffed and inhumane. State governments are constitutionally responsible to protect those in their custody but put us the citizens last when it comes to protection. We end up fighting and murdered trying to protect ourselves and our personal property; our life and personal property are second to those that are incarcerated. County and state correctional systems are woefully underbudgeted and designed to fail us citizens due to the poor representation from Sheriffs when the Georgia General Assembly is in session. With the Sheriff being "arms of state" state government should hear from Sheriffs or a Sheriff sponsored exploratory committee concerning strengthening their prison zero (0%) integer prisons space, which is woefully inhumane and a constitutional "injustice and liability" failure of negligence on our elected government officials., our state prison correctional system should also maintain a 1 to 3% percentage per state residential prison population capacity of the state. Georgia citizens are forced to protect themselves via their Second Amendment right due to the negligence of our state legislature regarding insufficient prison inmate space and square footage. The inhumane conditions due to overcrowded prisons contribute to the gangs, guns and residential death in our communities and schools, and threats to our personal property.

Americans are suffering from the failure of our county Sheriffs and state government elected officials!

The injustice here in America is the failure of our county Sheriffs and state government elected officials of not accepting the principles of the United States Constitution that make them responsible for enabling us [We The People] and visitors to the United States to live in a just and safe society. Our bill of rights enriches us with the freedom of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness—and safety from the guns, the gangs and the lawlessness rampant throughout our communities. The only constitutional right we truly have is to define ourselves via the Second Amendment of the Constitution. Georgia is an open gun-carrying state due to the failures of our government officials, the county Sheriffs and our state governmental elected officials. Our adolescents are forced into criminal gangs where they must participate in gang initiations, fighting and death. Children are forced to carry guns to and from school in order to protect themselves from gangbangers because of the failure of our county and state officials to protect the citizens of the United States of America!

Currently, Georgia’s 159 counties, including Sheriffs’ offices, county jails and state correctional centers, operate with less than zero capacity bed space and square footage, per their perspective county or state residential population United States census reports, of records. The negligence and injustice of having insufficient integer jail capacity space is the constitutional liability of Americans defending themselves from becoming victims of crimes. Defending ourselves against the guns, the gangs and thieves is due to the negligence of the county and state governments.

The time for justice is now. We must have sufficient positive integer amounts of detention centers, prison beds and square footage to receive our Constitutional rights.

Incarcerated inmates are dying violent and inhumane deaths within those overcrowded facilities due to other incarcerated gang members and the inadequate county and state jail facilities, just as innocent citizens including our children are killing one another due to the injustices of our elected county and state officials and the Sheriffs. We must protect the citizens and visitors of our country and counties with adequate jail facilities!
